Statesman - A Political Life
Everything you need to write about the game. Screenshots and art may be used freely in coverage.
In one line
A political life simulation in which you climb from activist to councillor, mayor, MP, minister, Vice-President and President, in a generated country where every scandal is one you caused.
Description
You start with nothing: no office, no money, no car. Each week you plan a diary, the week ends, and the country answers. Every rung of the ladder is a different job, with its own rules, its own enemies and its own ways to fall.
As a minister you fight Cabinet for your bill, answer at Question Time, and hear a week early that the reshuffle is coming. As President you hold the red box, choose the front row at the Independence Day parade, and play crises one day at a time, from a failing dam to impeachment.
Office brings a residence, a motorcade, a Presidential Guard and a discretionary fund. The game counts every one of them, and so does everyone watching. When it ends, your successor decides how to treat you, the courts may come for you, and your heir takes up your name.
